The Arlington Campus is located in Arlington County, in what Arlingtonians call Virginia Square. This campus was created in 1979 when the Commonwealth of Virginia General Assembly authorized George Mason University to establish a law school. The following year the university established the graduate and continuing education programs and fine arts gallery at the Arlington Campus.

The Prince William Campus was established in Prince William County in 1997 and is an integral part of Mason’s many campuses. This campus serves all of Northern Virginia and provides convenient university access for citizens of Prince William, Fauquier, and western Fairfax Counties; the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park, and adjoining areas to the west and south.

Mason in Loudoun – aims to connect students and businesses in one of the nation’s fastest growing areas to one of the Commonwealth’s premier universities. The goal of Mason in Loudoun is to provide courses that will introduce the Loudoun-area workforce and residents to study in a number of exciting areas, while offering current students a local option toward completion of degree program requirements.
